say good-bye to hollywood... and 2008

The year 2008 was an interesting one, a year of self-reflection, with certain fear and doubt, a year also dotted with some sadness.

I am ready to start a new one, and instead of wishing many blessings upon myself, I am going to make it a good year. I will be a blessing myself.

Life is too short to sit and wonder when it's going to start. I will not follow this year; I will lead.

Luck (or maybe not) has dealt me a clean slate, and I will be able to do brand new things that I never thought possible at this stage in my life.

I am excited, hopeful, and ready to stretch a bit and step beyond my comfort zone.
